Applique Designs - If you are new to machine embroidered appliques, get ready to have a lot of fun! These designs all stitch out quickly for a last minute gift idea or embellishment or for when you're in the mood to create something new out of something old.
The sequence of stitching is the same for all the applique designs. The first stitch to sew is the outline stitch, then the basting stitch to tack down your fabric. After the fabric is trimmed, the final stitches are sewn.

I've never heard anyone say, "He's as cute as an insect." Or "snug as an insect in a rug." Or even "he really insects me." So 'Bugs' it is.
